Hi my lovely readers! I hope you are all doing well. I am trying to do it nowadays, as well. Today, I am here to talk about my other "Flipped Video experience" with my friend, Aslı. We decided on Relative Clauses on page 363.

We created a flipped video by using Animaker. A flipped video can be used either in the class or outside the class. This video helps students understand the subject of the class better and it helps teachers to save time for other things in the classroom. In this task, after we chose a subject from the book, we decided on what we could do with this subject. Then, we shared the work with Aslı. As we worked together a lot before, it was easy to share. We decided on how to create a video and which tools we should use. We use Animaker and PlayPosit. Animaker is easy to use. Although it was my first try to use this app, I didn't encounter any troubles. PlayPosit cannot be used with a friend so we had to work individually during this tool's work. It is the bad side of this tool, PlayPosit.

To be honest, I liked the Flipped Video thing a lot! We even used it in the project of Teaching English Through Literature II with my group. We are excited to see how it will work in this project! So, thank you Gökçe Teacher!

Well, every beautiful thing has an end my dear readers... It is time to say goodbye to you now. Bye. Take care and stay healthy as possible as you can. <3

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I am trying to do it, as well. Today, I am here to talk about my "Flipped Video experience" with my friend, Asude. We decided on Unit 5-Health to prepare a flipped video for our students.

We created a flipped video for young learners. A flipped video can be used either in the class or outside the class. We had some problems during the project.

Firstly, I have to admit that it was my first try to create such a video. We decided to use Canva. However, we couldn't manage to create a complete video like flipped videos. It looked like a slideshow, instead. Then, we changed the tool and started to use Powtoon. Powtoon is a tool easy to use but there is just one point I would like to mention to you. It is about adding a voiceover. I and Asude couldn't handle to use it efficiently so we had some troubles. We did it by creating a complete audio recording. To sum up, it was a good experience for me to use it in the future like any other assignments in this course for my future students. Thanks for reading my dear readers! Adiiioossss...

Here is our quiz about the video: http://www.quiz-maker.com/QC9RJQ45O

Hi again! I hope you are all doing well. I'm trying to do it. Today, I will be posting about Language Awareness Tasks Based On Corpus Use.

I created a teaching material based on Skell with my friends; Emine Aslı Baki and Emre Yunus Angay. We chose "See & Watch" to inform the students. It may be a complicated subject to understand. Thus, with the help of Corpus Use, they may easily grasp the differences between them using the examples. We use Canva for the design of the material. We also chose bright colours to engage students' attention. It was a good task for us because by experiencing it, we understood better how Corpus works.

In the first activity, we want them to perceive the differences and when they come to the second activity, they write a description to both of them. Then, in the third one, students are wanted to work with pairs and create a mind map. When they come to the final activity, they create sentences using "see" and "watch". Yes, my dear blog readers, we also come to end for today. Bye for the moment, take care of yourselves!
